Project Administrator / Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced and effective Project Coordinator. This is a good opportunity to join our organisation as we get underway with some exciting IT projects and will help to assist a number of ICT Project Managers.

REANNZ is New Zealand’s National Research and Education Network (NREN), one of 120 NRENs worldwide, and we connect research and education organisations across New Zealand. REANNZ provides a high-performance specialist network, tools, and services that facilitate data intensive research and global collaboration. Through REANNZ, New Zealand’s scientists, researchers and educators are able to connect, collaborate and contribute via their access to a world-wide network of research and education infrastructure. 

This role will help to support our team, who provide services to enable New Zealand to keep up with world leading countries in the research and technology fields.     

Having a 'can-do' attitude and an outgoing personality, you will be comfortable liaising with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally while supporting the day-to-day delivery of a range of projects.  

Core skills and experience required:

  • 2 -3 years + working as a project coordinator

  • Experience working to support IT projects

  • A solid understanding of project practices and methodologies

  • Confident communicator at all levels

  • Good ability in tracking project plans, budgets and outputs

  • Ability to manage changing priorities and ambiguity

  • A working knowledge of MS Project, Visio and Excel.
